‘County’ Fire Insurance, Chief Officers Brassard c1801-1814, a magnificent and most rare example in heavy gauge die-stamped gilt brass (6” x 4”). In high relief Britannia is shown face on holding a spear and a shield bearing the Arms of Great Britain 1801-1814, a crouched lion to her right. The number ‘10’ is stamped to the left of her head. At the bottom, ‘COUNTY’. Four heavy gauge loop fasteners, minute gilt loss to the high points otherwise very fine, Categories: Badges & Insignia
