A rare mid 19th century gilt tiara and brooch, possibly English, the tiara modelled as a garland of myrtle, a symbol of chastity, with the brooch ensuite, inner diameter 12.5cm, brooch 9.5cmH, in its circular box, the underside of lid inscribed in German ‘Grandmother Starsch’ golden tiara which was worn by aunt Johanne N.. res for the second time, for R…ers golden wedding anniversary in 1929’, together with two letter dated 1897 and 1898 one with header for Clara Meyer, a 19th century German actress.
