Ink Desk Stamp Reputedly Taken from Adolf Hitler’s Desk in the Reich Chancellery, the wooden stamp has a Berlin (Friedrichstrasse) makers tab attached to the top, the stamp bottom reads “Nur zur Kenntnisnahme!” which translates to For Information Only. Accompanied by a typed label which states, “HITLER’S PERSONAL STAMP, TAKEN FROM HIS DESK IN THE REICH CHANCELLERY BY INTELLIGENCE OFFICER A A WILLIAMS”. This item formed part of the late Reg Palmer Collection, who had a small private museum in near Charring Cross, London, in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. Back in March 2017, C&T Auctioneers sold a personal photograph album of Eva Braun, liberated from the Berlin Bunker which came from the same collection. Categories: WW2 German Militaria
