Great War Memorial Plaque to a member of the Honourable Artillery Company who Died of Wounds at Home, bronze memorial plaque, “HUGH VICTOR TURNILL”. 20-year-old Hugh Victor Turnill served in France with 3rd Battalion Honourable Artillery Company from 25th December 1916 until 30th March 1917 when he returned to the UK having received a GSW to the leg. Sadly he died from the effects of this wound on 15th April 1917 and he now rest in Warmington (St Mary) Churchyard, Northamptonshire. There are 3 War Grave Commission graves in this churchyard.
