Queens South Africa Medal to the Royal Army Medical Corps, medal with 3 clasps, Cape Colony, South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902, impressed naming, “16332 PTE. H.J. YOUNG R.A.M.C.” Born in Brighton, 20-year-old Henry John Young was living in London when he attested for the Royal Army Medical Corps on 23rd October 1901. He served for 351 days, including 332 days in South Africa, before his discharge on 8th October 1902. The medal and all 3 clasps are confirmed on the medal roll. Categories: Medals
