Lot 13Comprehensive and Very Interesting Collection to RAF Leading Aircraftmen K.A.R. Perry, 1941 to 1972

Comprehensive and Very Interesting Collection to RAF Leading Aircraftmen K.A.R. Perry, 1941 to 1972
Comprehensive and Very Interesting Collection to RAF Leading Aircraftmen K.A.R. Perry, 1941 to 1972, including WWII Campaign medals, Service & Release book, numerous photographs and later from 1960, when he joined the Royal Naval Reserve, a number of shoulder titles and badges. Unusually well compiled by Kenneth Perry himself in a modern Album, literally hundreds of photographs, most captioned tracing his service in the Middle East (Jerusalem), Egypt etc. He was part of a Signals Communication Team de-cyphering among other things German weather reports etc. This is fully described in a typed account "My personal recollection of life in the RAF during the war years". The photographs include RAF aircraft based in Tunisia and destroyed German aircraft and equipment. The story continues post war with a handwritten sheet describing his adventures. A separate folder contains a small number of what appear to be privately taken photographs of Vampires (605 Squadron in Germany) in the early 1950's. In all a large very appealing collection, spanning a period of 30 years, Categories: Aviation
