British 1912 George V Cavalry Sword Middlesex Yeomanry by Wilkinson
British 1912 George V Cavalry Sword Middlesex Yeomanry by Wilkinson, numbered 52301, regulation pattern officers sword with large dish guard, stepped pommel and grip retaining the wire binding. Housed in the leather field service scabbard. Regulation pattern blade with Wilkinson makers mark and number to the spine of the blade. Etched foliage and cyphers to the blade. Panel with etched initials “E.E.A”. Some surface rusting to the blade but generally still good condition. Blade 89cms, overall 112cms. The Wilkinson Sword ledger gives details of the sword being finished on 19th December 1916 and purchased by E E Anderson Middlesex Yeomanry. Categories: Swords & Dirks
